$\textit{Why Eigen, Why Now}$?

AGI is completely reconfiguring power. A few major labs are already consolidating control over the models, infrastructure, capital, and decision-making systems that will shape the next era.

We believe open networks are the only credible counterforce.

We have already built coordination technologies that reached billions in economic security and enabled hundreds of services across open networks. That work proved that decentralized systems can coordinate capital, trust, and computation at massive scale. But the next frontier is much larger.

Today we operate at the intersection of AI, cryptography, and coordination theory.

We are now building open networks across the layers that will shape AI: agentic research, inference infrastructure, capital formation, and verifiable systems for autonomous coordination.

Recently, we showed what this future can look like: a community of scientists, amateurs, and agents collaborating openly to surpass Google’s unpublished quantum breakthrough. It was a glimpse of what becomes possible when coordination is no longer limited to closed institutions.

This mission has grown far beyond any single product.

If you want to optimize existing systems, there are easier places. If you want to reshape how power, trust, and agency work in the age of AGI - keep reading.

$\textit{How We Work}$

Remote-first, async by default. We're distributed across time zones and don't track hours or locations, you're here because you do great work.

We run lightweight, thesis-driven experiments, validating ideas before committing resources. Cross-functional teams own the full lifecycle, from discovery through delivery. We move fast, pivot nimbly, and scale only what earns it.

We get together IRL a couple times a year, time to think bigger and get to know each other.

$\textit{What We Value}$

Unreasonable Goals: We set targets that force us to stretch toward the future we want, not just what's immediately possible.
